Love and Exes

You know what I don't get? When people put their exes down, sure they were probably assholes, ugly, or even both. But at one point they were everything you ever wanted. They were most beautiful creature to you. You loved them, or at least had a strong lust for him. I hate to tell you, they were probably always assholes, you are just blind for not seeing it sooner, or always knowing and thinking you could change them. They were just being themselves, you were just living in a lala land. You probably though that them being complete douchebags was just quirky and cute at the time. I just don't get it.
